This could include rehabilitation, mobility strategies, and equipment to help you maintain your independence and ability to participate in daily activities.

The Occupational Therapy team supports your independence and helps you feel confident when participating in daily activities. Your Occupational Therapist will create a personal assessment and develop strategies and interventions to help you develop the skills and supports needed to achieve your NDIS goals.
Our team of Occupational Therapists can assist you with:
Personal care and daily living skills in the home
Community participation, e.g., attending places in your area
Meaningful activities such as hobbies, work or events that are important to you
Finding suitable housing or living conditions (i.e., living on your own or with others)
Making changes to your house or vehicle for easier access and to ensure your safety while at home or while travelling
Assessing and recommending the use of assistive technology.
To help you develop your independence and successfully participate, our Occupational Therapists will support you by providing you with the skills, the environment, and (if needed) the assistive technology you need to live an independent life. Our Occupational Therapists are registered and qualified Occupational Therapists with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Our team of trained Speech Pathologists will collaborate with you to grow your confidence and ability to communicate effectively with other people by meeting your needs, wants and ideas through the most appropriate way to do so.
Support methods include building your speech and language skills, using sign language and the introduction of alternate and/or augmentative communication systems such as picture-based systems or communication devices to assist you in your day-to-day life.
Our Speech Pathologists can support you to:
Develop clarity of speech and vocabulary expansion
Increase language skills and develop communication skills
Improve confidence in social situations
Provide support with voice and fluency issues
Implement alternative communication strategies
Develop attention and listening skills.
You will receive assistance from one of our Speech Pathologists to build your confidence in using all forms of communication to improve your participation in social activities, conversations, and other day-to-day tasks.
Our Speech Pathologists have met the standards set by Speech Pathology Australia to be a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP).
Our rehabilitation counsellors support people living with disability, injury, or chronic health conditions to pursue meaningful goals in work, education, and community life. Using a person-centred and strengths-based approach, we work with you to build confidence, overcome barriers, and increase independence.

Through personalised guidance and practical strategies, we support you in developing safe, healthy, and sustainable eating habits that align with your NDIS goals.
